About the Clinician's Workday

The clinician will provide comprehensive pulmonary critical care coverage alternating between inpatient and outpatient settings on a weekly basis. Responsibilities include managing an average of 8 inpatients per day during inpatient weeks with call coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, performing essential procedures including bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, and chest tube placements based on patient acuity. During outpatient weeks, the clinician will conduct clinic visits from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM seeing approximately 15 patients per day. The position requires board certification in both Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, with fellowship training in lung transplants being highly preferred for this specialized role.
