Job Details:
• Licensed professional using the Parkland nursing professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery
• Focus on specific patient populations and health conditions as part of the healthcare team
• Utilize the nursing process to assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Assist patients to transition through healthcare encounters without preventable complications or delays
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient conditions
• Rotating after hours call with required Sunday rotation
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Must have 2 years of RN Cath Lab experience required
• Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Texas nursing license required
• Must disclose any previous employment history with this healthcare system
• Skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath Lab required
• Two supervisory references from within the last year required
