This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible Family Practice Physician to work part-time in a Community Health Center outpatient setting in Washington. The physician will provide care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics, including vulnerable populations such as migrants and refugees, performing basic procedures and managing a fairly high patient volume. The role includes onsite support staff and benefits from interpretative services, requiring an active Washington medical license and DEA registration.
Specialty: Family PracticeContract Length: 3 months, possibility to extendShift Details: 2 days/week. 8 hour work day with 1 hour unpaid lunch.Schedule: Monday-Friday (only 2 days)Hourly Rate: $100-$115/hrWork Details: Support Staff: Dedicated medical assistant for each provider, receptionist, mental health therapists, dietitians, most clinics have an onsite pediatrician and local health care administrator they will submit timecards to. Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: FT. 40hrs/week. Patients per day: Will be scheduled to see up to 21 patients. May be less depending on cancellations, etc, but should be comfortable with higher volume and fast paced. Patient Population/Age: Newborns-Geriatrics. Provider should be comfortable working with all ages. Department Description: Community Health Center. Providers must have experience in these settings or express interest to work with vulnerable populations. They service migrants and refugees and have interpretative services available on site. Provider is not required to be bilingual, but would be a plus. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Basic bread and butter procedures. Injections, IUD placement, minor wound care. Skills Required: Expected to hit ground running. Will be a 1 week ramp up with onsite orientation but will be expected to begin patient care by day 3.Practice Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting- Community Health CenterTravel Logistics: Specific travel client will pay for: Flight, rental car or mileage and lodging.Requirements: Board Certification: BC or BE License Required: Active WA license required. Will not consider non-licensed candidates DEA: Active WA DEA required
