Seeking an OB/GYN for an outpatient locum opportunity in the Rancho Mission Viejo, CA area.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Coverage Need: Maternity leave (minimum 3 months) with potential extension
• Schedule: 4 days/week preferred, can accommodate 5 days/week if needed
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM 5:00 PM
• No call, no inpatient responsibilities; 100% outpatient
• LOCALS strongly preferred
• Locums-to-perm option available
• Common Procedures/Case Types: Abscess or cyst drainage/aspiration, Breast and pelvic exams, Cervical biopsies, colposcopy, Chemical/electrocautery of lesions, Cystoscopy, hysteroscopy, Endometrial ablation and biopsies, Epidermal cyst removal (Bartholin s Gland), Focused abdominal/transvaginal ultrasounds, Hormone replacement therapy, IUD and subdermal contraceptive insertions/removals, Pap tests, well-woman exams. LEEP, IV insertion, subcutaneous anesthesia
• CA licensed (or in process)
• Comfortable with full scope of listed outpatient GYN procedures
• Available for at least 3-month assignment
• Interested in locums-to-perm transition (optional)
• Well-supported office with standard OB/GYN resources
• Rate: 150/hr, malpractice and mileage covered
