Emergency Department Setting

Free-Standing Emergency Department
20 beds
9,000 annual visits ( 30 patients/day)
Cerner EMR
Fast Track available (minimal utilization)

Admissions & Flow

• 70% of hospital admissions originate from the ED

• 1% admitted daily

• 1% transferred daily

️ Support & Coverage

• Full ED staff on-site

• Hospitalist writes admission orders

• No house code response required

• No supervision of other providers

️ Travel & Coverage

️ Malpractice insurance covered
️ Lodging & car rental provided

Requirements (ALL Required No Exceptions)

️ Board Certified
️ IM or FM accepted with 2+ years of recent EM experience
️ Active Michigan license at time of name clear
️ BLS, ACLS, ATLS
️ Local providers only
