As a Medical Assistant you will be assisting providers with efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care, performing a variety of general patient care responsibilities to include, but not limited to: measuring/recording vital signs, collecting specimens and administering injections.
Key Responsitbilities:
- Providing assistance and preparation prior to and during examination by healthcare providers.
- Preparing examination/treatment rooms for examinations of patients by properly positioning instruments, equipment and supplies.
- Interviewing patients to obtain reasons for visiting such as nature of complaint, physical problems, symptoms of illness, etc. .
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-3 years of experience.
- Certified Medical Assistant for designated practices.
- American Heart Association CPR Card.
