Opportunity:
Surgical Tech - Surgical Tech CVOR
Job Details:
• Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities up to 50% of the time from end of shift to next morning
• Call response time is 30 minutes
• Weekend on-call up to 50% of weekends
• Work in 6 operating rooms including 1 CVOR and 1 hybrid room
• Handle 20-30 cases per day with 1-2 cardiovascular cases or up to 4 TAVR procedures
• Common cases include CABG, aortic valve, mitral valve, and TAVR procedures
• Minimum 1 year of open heart experience required
• Scrubbing required for surgical techs
• BLS certification required
• Hospital provides scrubs
• EMR system: Cerner
• Charge nurse and specialty leads available as resources
• House supervisor available in-house from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM only
• Scrub techs available for support
