Position Highlights
• 1+ year IR experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS
• License: TX MRT/LMRT must be in hand at submission
• First-time travelers: Accepted
• Charting: Epic (preferred)
• Environment: Interventional Radiology | Large academic medical center
• ⚙ Required Skills:
- Scrubbing & sterile field maintenance
- Vascular access & closure devices (Perclose, StarClose)
- Angiography, embolization, stent placement
- Liver biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis
- Renal, mesenteric, pelvic & visceral angiography
• ➕ Strongly Preferred: Dual IR and CT Tech experience
Call Requirements
• Weeknight call: ~1 night/week (end of shift to 7:00 AM)
• Weekend call: 24 hrs (Fri end of shift → Mon AM) every 4-6 weeks
• Call teams: 2 techs + 1 nurse
Notes
• Travelers must be motivated and eager to learn
• State license cannot be pending
• Locals accepted (same rate)
