Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a seasonal travel RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring a TN or compact RN license and recent ER experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week seasonal assignment
- Caring for patients with a variety of emergent medical needs
- Duties include providing emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
- May require management of aggressive or behavioral health patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Standard orientation provided prior to start
- Holiday and weekend shift coverage may be required
Requirements
- Active TN or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent ER RN experience
- Current AHA or ARC certifications as required (cannot expire within 30 days of assignment start)
- CPI certification or equivalent required for ER units
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
