Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current BLS, ARRT, CRT, and state licensure.
Responsibilities
- Position is based in an acute care hospital
- Work performed in the Mammography unit with day shifts (5x8 hours) from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Every other Saturday rotation from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM is required
- No floating required between like units
- EMR system used is Epic and experience is required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Returning former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and may not be within 50 miles of the facility
- All travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state as needed
- Scrub color requirements may be unit specific
- Minimal RTO is permitted and must be communicated prior to offer
- COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in mammography
- BLS, ARRT, CRT certifications and state license required (license required if applicable)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must provide two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty within the last three years
- Pending license not accepted
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
