Opportunity:

IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology) - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Alternating days off with either Tuesday or Thursday off
• No call, weekend, or holiday requirements
• Must have minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• Neuro experience not required
• Required certifications: BLS Certification and Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• IR certification (ARRT or RCIS) required
• Work in single suite/lab handling 7-8 cases per day on average
• Job duties include scrubbing in, circulating, and working in control room
• Handle general body procedures including tube placements, line placements, stents, drains, Y-90s, and IVIS
• Work with Epic EMR system and McKesson PACS
• Utilize Philips FD 20 equipment
• Possible rare floating to Meridian and Boise IR departments
• Scrubs provided
• 3 days to 1 week orientation period

This medical center features a well-established interventional radiology department with a dedicated single suite that maintains a steady caseload averaging 7-8 procedures daily. The facility operates with one interventional radiologist and 1-2 physician assistants on-site during working hours, supported by excellent interventional radiologists and nursing staff known for their collaborative and easy-to-work-with approach. The department utilizes modern technology including Epic EMR systems and advanced imaging equipment to provide comprehensive interventional radiology services.
