JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Virginia NP or PA license required
• Board: Applicable national certification for NP or PA
• DEA: Active DEA required
• Certifications: Emergency medicine related certifications per facility standards
• Experience: Emergency department experience required
• Other Qualifications: Must be willing to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of all ages
• Cover emergency department shifts at LewisGale Hospital-Montgomery and LewisGale Christiansburg as needed
• Manage patient flow and clinical decision-making in a Level III Trauma Center
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary services
• Document all encounters accurately in Meditech EMR
