This role is for a Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in a rural outpatient clinic in Southeastern California, offering a permanent, full-time position with no weekends or on-call duties. The practitioner will provide primary care to patients of all ages, working alongside a Family Medicine MD and Pediatrician, with an emphasis on serving medically under-served populations. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant opening in Rural Southeastern California
- $200,000+ base salary - 100% outpatient/Primary care with no call
- Permanent placement only . No locums.
- Federally qualified health center with loan repayment assistance available. New clinic building opened in January 2023.
- Must be able to see patients of all ages in a primary care outpatient setting. 40 hours per week with no weekends.
- Monday Friday schedule working 8-hour clinic days. No weekends. Providers typically see 20-21 patients per day.
- Taking over a long-time and established practice of a provider who is retiring.
- Group will consider new graduates if able to work independently. There is a full-time Family medicine MD and 1 Pediatrician on-site to assist and provide some supervision. Clinic also has two dental providers on-site.
- Location is 90 minutes North of Yuma, AZ, 3.5 hours to San Diego and Los Angeles and under 2 hours to Palm Springs, CA.
- Desired start date as soon as possible. (It takes about 12 weeks to obtain the CA license if not licensed)
