Position Highlights:
- Location: Near Wells, NV
- Start Date: January 2025
- Coverage Needed:
- 7 to 10 days per month (flexible scheduling)
- Call-only coverage
- Patients Per Shift: 2-3
- Admissions: 1-2 per shift
Practice Setting:
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient care
- Hospital with 25 Med-Surg beds and 7 ICU beds
- No board certification required; board eligibility is acceptable
Key Responsibilities:
- Pediatric patient management including acute and chronic care
- Call response within 30 minutes
- Common procedures include:
- Intubation (newborn and pediatric)
- Ventilation management (neo-puff and pediatric)
- Lumbar punctures, central lines, and chest tube insertions
Qualifications:
- Active NV license or eligibility for an IMLC license
- Required certifications: PALS and NRP
Additional Details:
- Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 30 days
- Support staff includes RNs, MAs, and one PA/NP
- Temporary hospital privileges available
- Facility uses MEDHOST for EMR
