Join a dynamic and rapidly growing pediatric department that is part of a comprehensive healthcare system in Saginaw, Michigan. We are seeking full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Neurologists to enhance our Pediatrics Department. In collaboration with Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health, this position offers a unique chance to build a pediatric residency program and contribute to a variety of subspecialties in a supportive and educational environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient services.
- Engage in resident and medical student education.
- Participate in the development of the pediatric residency program.
- Conduct EEG and sleep study interpretation.
- Utilize a vast primary care referral network to support patient care.
- Facilitate positive change and improvement throughout the region.
- Allocate time for research and academic pursuits.
- Create a welcoming environment for H1B and J1 visa candidates.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology with a Special Qualification in Child Neurology.
- Fellowship-trained (to be completed prior to start).
- Exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching.
- Experience in scholarly activities.
- Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Controlled Substance License CSR/CDS (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA (must be obtained prior to start).
- Copy of most recent NPDB Report (within 30 to 60 days active).
