Hospitalist Opportunities in Coastal Florida Work-Life Balance Meets Purpose
Location: East Florida (Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, DeLand, Orange City, Palm Coast, and Waterman)
Schedule: Full-Time 7 on / 7 off Day or Night Shift
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
Annual Shifts: 182 shifts per year
Position Overview:
AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking dedicated and team-oriented Hospitalists to join our growing inpatient teams across multiple campuses in the East Florida Division. This is a full-time employed position with a 7 on / 7 off schedule, working 12-hour shifts either days or nights, totaling 182 shifts annually.
Our hospitalist teams are well-supported, highly collegial, and committed to delivering whole-person care that reflects AdventHealth s mission of Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ.
Practice Highlights:
- Block schedule: 7 days on / 7 days of
- 12-hour shifts: 7 AM 7 PM (day) or 7 PM 7 AM (night)
- Epic EMR across all campuses
- Opportunities to work at multiple locations in Volusia and Lake County
- Strong specialist support and collaborative team environment
- No procedures required; optional if desired
- Night positions include support from APPs (site dependent)
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Current Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA license
- Team-first mindset and strong communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
