We are actively seeking highly motivated and experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team on a locum tenens basis. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies in our modern and well-equipped emergency department. Working alongside a dedicated team of nurses, technicians, and other healthcare professionals, you'll ensure timely and effective interventions for every patient who enters our doors.

The ED Experience

This state-of-the-art facility offers a supportive and collaborative environment with the following features:

• High Patient Volume: Stay engaged and challenged with an annual patient volume of approximately 30,000 visits.
• Advanced Technology & Staffing: Benefit from working in a 22-bed emergency department equipped with the latest technology. Our team is comprised of a strong nursing staff and a supportive administrative team, ensuring you have the resources you need to provide exceptional care.
• Comprehensive Coverage: Experience a well-staffed environment with 29 hours of physician coverage and 24/7 APP coverage, guaranteeing uninterrupted patient care.

Who You Are

• Board certified (BC) in Emergency Medicine (EM) or board certified (BC) in Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with a minimum of 2 years of direct emergency department experience.
• Active Florida medical license is mandatory.
• A passion for emergency medicine, a commitment to providing exceptional patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
• You possess strong clinical skills and experience managing a diverse range of medical emergencies.
• Excellent decision-making, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills are necessary for making critical decisions under pressure.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
