Position Overview: Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Location: Near Fort Lauderdale, FL Job Reference: Job ID Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only) Key Highlights: Facility Overview: Work at a hospital with 250 beds and a 43-bed emergency department. The FSED provides an additional platform for patient care, handling approximately 60 patients per day. While the facility is not a trauma center, it serves as a Comprehensive Stroke and STEMI Center, catering to a diverse patient population. The main emergency department sees an average of 150 patients per day. Supportive Work Environment: Join a fully staffed emergency department, including experienced nurses, techs, and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Collaborate with 6-8 Emergency Medicine residents per day in the main ER, enhancing both learning and support. The FSED is similarly supported by APPs and EM residents, ensuring high standards of care.
