Registered Nurse (ED Clinical Nurse) provides direct emergency care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in a Level I Trauma Emergency Department. The role emphasizes patient- and family-centered care, safety, care coordination across the continuum, and participation in quality, regulatory and professional development activities; BSN preferred and RN licensure required. The Emergency Department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital is the largest in Missouri, in a 52,000-square-foot facility. Total of 80 beds. We have 6 separate care areas, including trauma/critical care and a dedicated behavioral health unit, allowing us to care for a wide variety of patients.
