Job DescriptionThe primary function is to deliver high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs and performing and/or assisting physicians in interventional and invasive procedures. This role requires maintaining records, films, and paperwork, as well as preparing, maintaining, and operating radiologic and special procedure equipment in a safe and responsible manner, following appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
Responsibilities- Deliver high quality patient care.
- Produce diagnostic radiographs.
- Assist physicians in interventional/invasive procedures.
- Maintain records, films, and necessary paperwork.
- Prepare, maintain, and operate radiologic and special procedure equipment safely.
- Follow appropriate radiation safety guidelines.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
- Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required.
- General experience in special studies and angiography Required.
- Registered Technologist (R) Required.
- Basic Life Support certification Required.
