Locum tenens Interventional Radiology physician needed for hospital-based inpatient and outpatient coverage in North Dakota, providing full-time ongoing coverage with 3 IR rooms and 1 CT room. Responsibilities include CT-guided biopsies/aspiration/drainage, a full range of vascular and interventional radiology procedures (diagnostic angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolysis, embolization, vascular access, IVC filter, TIPS) and emergent non-vascular interventions. Typical schedule begins at 8:00 AM with open-ended hours, on-call overnight, and an average caseload of ~18 patients/day; board certification in Interventional Radiology required.
We are seeking an Interventional Radiology Physician for locum tenens coverage in North Dakota. This is a hospital-based role with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
Assignment Overview
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing, full-time coverage (details discussed during interview)
- IR Capacity: 3 Interventional Radiology rooms and 1 CT room
- Hours: 8:00 AM open-ended
- On-Call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Average Volume: Approximately 18 patients per day
- Board Certification: Interventional Radiology
- CT-Guided Procedures: Biopsies, aspiration and drainage
- Vascular & Interventional Radiology
