American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Trauma ICU position requiring a KS or compact license and AHA certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in a 20-bed Neuro Trauma ICU within a hospital setting
- Care for neuro and trauma ICU patients
- Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
- Every other weekend is required
- EMR system used is Cerner
- Responsibilities include care of neuro trauma patients in a critical care environment
- Orientation includes completion of on-site crisis management training
- Every other weekend coverage is expected
- Local candidates are accepted at a reduced pay rate due to facility radius rules
- COVID-19 vaccination is not required
- Must provide two separate professional references and a copy of driver’s license for consideration
- First-time travelers are accepted
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required from AHA
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Completion of CPI Blue Card Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills or MOAB De-Escalation Course required prior to start
- On-site CPI/MOAB High-Risk training to be completed during orientation
- Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to assignment
- Must provide a U.S. Social Security Number and U.S. home address
