We are seeking a Pediatric Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in Buffalo, New York. This role supports a high-acuity pediatric surgical program at a freestanding children?s hospital. Providers with combined pediatric and adult anesthesia experience will also be considered.


Key Details

Compensation:$400/hour

Shift Length: Typically 10?12 hour shifts

On Call: Required; schedule and call rates negotiated during interview

Location: Buffalo, NY

Job Responsibilities
  • Administer anesthesia and manage pain control during medical procedures and surgeries.
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia to ensure safety and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, other physicians, and medical staff to optimize patient care.
Qualifications
  • Active New York State medical license
  • ACGME-accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • PALS certification

Active DEA

  • Providers with combined adult/pediatric anesthesia experience encouraged to apply
