Shift:
8 Hour Days; 2 Saturdays the entire 13 weeks
Work Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience.
- The Occupational Therapist (OT) is a professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- The OT is ultimately responsible for implementation and documentation of interventions, outcomes, discharge plans and patient/family/care giver education.
- He/she collaborates with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide continuity of care.
- The OT is responsible for the supervision of and delegation of tasks to appropriate individuals including technicians, students, and other customers of the organizations.
- The OT must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional occupational therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)
License: NE OT License
Certifications: BLS/CPR Certification.
