This travel nursing position is for an experienced RN Case Manager specializing in neuro-oncology outpatient care, responsible for coordinating patient care, developing individualized treatment roadmaps, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. The role requires at least two years of case management experience with oncology and pediatric patients and certifications such as PALS or PEARS, with CPHON preferred. The nurse will manage assessments, treatment plans, referrals, and care transitions for neonatal through adolescent patients over a 13-week travel assignment in Orange, California.

Required: 2 years of Case Manager experience and experience with Oncology and PEDS
NO 1st time travelers
Patient Diagnoses:
There is no call requirement.
Also, this job does not administer Chemotherapy, but must have knowledge of Chemotherapy, it’s interactions and experience with Roadmaps.
CPHON certified if possible.
Float Required:
Yes; covering for other colleagues

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Patient Care manager role supporting the Neuro Onlcology patients. Will be responsible for working in a multidisciplinary team to develop a road map for this patient population. Accountable for assessment of patients, implementation of physician orders, treatment plans, medical procedures, record keeping, as well as monitoring and evaluating patient care processes and outcomes. Coordinate activities with other services and disciplines. Must have an Oncology background
