Emergency Medicine Coverage Needed in Michigan Level III Trauma Center We are seeking a highly qualified Locum Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team close ADA, Michigan. This exciting opportunity offers flexibility and a dynamic work environment in a well-equipped facility. Job Start Date: January 1, 2026 Shift Details: Weekday Shifts: 6am-4pm, 10am-8pm, 12pm-10pm, 4pm-2am, 8pm-6am Weekend Shifts: 6am-4pm, 10am-8pm, 4pm-2am, 8pm-6am Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients. Supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and residents. Perform family medicine procedures including suturing, orthopedic care, and emergency psychiatric evaluations. Manage ventilation and acute volume/BP issues. Conduct EKG interpretation, central/arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, and more. Facility Details: Annual ER Volume: 40,000 Trauma Level: 3 427 beds with a robust support system including full nursing staff and 12-hour APP coverage daily. Electronic Health Record System: Cerner Fast Track Unit managed by APPs handling 15% of volume. Requirements: Board Certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) - Required Active Michigan State License - Required BLS Certification - Required Local candidates preferred Significant Emergency Department experience is highly preferred.
