Opportunity:

Job Details:
• 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Work every other weekend
• No call requirements
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 24 hours of orientation (non-billable)
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on 36-bed medical surgical unit
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• 1 year minimum experience, unit accepts first-time travelers
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions, telemetry monitoring, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Georgia or Compact state nursing license required
• Two supervisory references highly preferred
• Must be available to complete compliance items within 48 hours of contract signing
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
