How you’ll make an impact in this role
Delivers high-acuity nursing care during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, providing continuous assessment and rapid intervention for patients in the Cath Lab setting.
Serves as the primary point of contact for the multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless communication between cardiologists, techs, and families while managing complex physician orders and procedural protocols.
Leads patient care from pre-procedure preparation through recovery and discharge planning, maintaining meticulous documentation and upholding strict safety standards for cardiac patients.
Coverage includes 20 hours per week with shifts between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; requires rotational on-call weekend, holiday and overnight coverage
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
Must have ER/ICU experience
Preferable cardiac cath lab experience
Must have nurse experience x2 years
