Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position with night shifts, ICU/critical care background, and required ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in a hospital setting
- Works 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
- Every other weekend and holidays required as scheduled
- Floating required within the specialty, to sister units, and lower acuity units as needed
- Deliver postoperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia
- Must be able to adapt to various unit needs through floating
- Work may include caring for patients across different care levels depending on unit needs
- Holiday coverage will be assigned according to hospital needs
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU, critical care, or PACU
- Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- First time travelers will be considered
