Pediatric Ophthalmologist Leadership Opportunity Greenville, North Carolina Full-Time Academic & Clinical Role Shape the future of Pediatric Ophthalmology in Eastern North Carolina.We are seeking a visionary, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) to lead and develop a thriving program serving a diverse community of 1.5 million residents. Opportunity Highlights Be a founding member and help establish a new academic division of Pediatric Ophthalmology. Lead clinical program development and growth. Potential academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Actively engage in teaching and mentoring ophthalmology residents and medical students. Work closely with teams in Pediatric Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Plastic Surgery. Key Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care in pediatric ophthalmology. Participate in teaching, mentorship, and curriculum development. Collaborate in research initiatives and academic contributions. Participate in shared call rotation within the department. Qualifications MD or DO degree with fellowship training in Pediatric Ophthalmology. Eligible for licensure in the state of North Carolina.
