Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Med/Surg position requiring EPIC experience and a GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is on a Medical/Surgical unit (12B Medical) in a hospital setting
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
• Cares for patients with a variety of medical diagnoses, including isolation cases such as COVID and Monkey Pox
• No on-call responsibilities
• No requested time off (RTO) will be approved for this position
• Manager will conduct interviews and make offers
• Common conditions managed include patients requiring various types of isolation precautions

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience
• Must have EPIC EMR experience
• Current certification card (e.g., BLS)
• Resume must reflect work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days
• Two references from recent, relevant supervisors or managers within the past 2 years
