This role provides technical leadership for corrosion prevention and cathodic protection activities across terminal and pipeline assets. The position ensures programs align with internal standards and applicable regulatory requirements while supporting integrity, risk mitigation, and long-term asset reliability. The role also includes oversight of field personnel, external service providers, and corrosion data systems, and serves as a subject matter authority for coatings and corrosion control practices.

Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or 12+ years of progressive experience in corrosion control
- Active NACE Cathodic Protection Technologist (CP3) certification (required)
- Strong working knowledge of corrosion control principles, CP system design, testing, installation, and operational monitoring
- Proficiency with standard business software (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations); experience with corrosion data management systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a physical science discipline
- Advanced familiarity with industry codes, standards, and specifications governing corrosion prevention and integrity management
Core Responsibilities:
- Oversee cathodic protection survey activities for terminal facilities, including contractor selection, cost development, and performance evaluation
- Review, interpret, and validate CP survey data; identify deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to operations leadership
- Develop repair scopes, coordinate internal and external resources, and provide technical oversight for CP and corrosion remediation projects
- Provide technical direction and day-to-day guidance to corrosion technicians supporting pipeline assets across multiple regions
- Support integrity management initiatives by analyzing corrosion growth rates, close-interval survey results, in-line inspection data, field excavations, and coating performance
- Deliver corrosion control support for above-ground storage tank inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and asset protection
- Maintain and enhance corrosion data systems, including rectifier monitoring, route configuration, test point management, and ad-hoc reporting
- Administer corrosion documentation, procedures, and records, including updates to operating and maintenance manuals and as-built files
- Lead the coatings governance group, serving as the technical authority for coating specifications, approved materials, inspection programs, and performance reviews
- Coordinate coatings inspections, maintain inspector qualifications, and facilitate periodic technical review meetings
