Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with night shifts and EPIC EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Care for patients requiring medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
• Floating to other units is required based on demonstrated competencies
• Weekend coverage is required
• EMR system used is Epic, with experience required
• May float to units for which competencies are documented
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Holiday coverage may be required depending on schedule needs
• First time travelers are eligible to apply

Requirements

• Active TN RN or compact RN license required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR is required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility for eligibility
