American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an outpatient setting, requiring CNMT, NMTCB or ARRT, and BLS certification.
Responsibilities- Outpatient facility in a nuclear medicine department
- Works with adult cardiac and radiology patients
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- EMR system used is Epic; experience preferred
- No floating between like units required, but all travelers may be asked to float within the state
- Scrub color is any color
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months to return as a traveler and cannot submit if residing within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is preferred, and extensive time off may hinder the application process
- All requested time off must be addressed at the time of application and may be denied after submission or offer
- Travelers' refusal to float within the state may result in termination
- First-time travelers are accepted for this position
- CNMT, NMTCB, or ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- New graduates are accepted
- License required if applicable; pending state license accepted but must have in hand within 4 weeks of consideration
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- Minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of relevant employment within the last three years
