Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Surg / Telemetry – Days – Tucson, AZ

Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | 3 × 12-Hour Day Shifts
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Weekends: Must work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Position Type:Float Pool – Must be willing to float

Patient Ratio: 6:1

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of Med-Surg / Telemetry RN experience

• Telemetry experience required to apply

Licensure & Certifications:

• Active Arizona RN License required

• BLS & ACLS required

Charting System:

• Cerner EMR

Position Overview:
The Med-Surg / Telemetry RN provides comprehensive nursing care using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure safe, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care utilizing evidence-based nursing practices

• Anticipate and plan for patient needs to ensure safe care delivery

• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

• Delegate patient care responsibilities appropriately

• Supervise and support assigned nursing personnel

• Float to various units as needed to support staffing demands
