Overview:
HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel MRI Technologist to join a dynamic imaging team in North Adams, MA. This role involves performing MRI scans on GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The MRI Tech will work alongside another tech or aide, with call coverage after midnight.
Responsibilities:
Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures.
Operate GE HDXT 16.0 and 23.0 MRI equipment efficiently.
Collaborate with another MRI Tech or Tech Aide; never work solo.
Provide coverage on call as required, including evenings and weekends.
Adhere to all departmental policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of current MRI experience.
ARRT (MR) Certification – Required.
Experience with GE MRI equipment – Required.
Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and take on-call shifts as needed.
Current BLS certification required.
