Job Summary and Responsibilities
About Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton: Our multispecialty group, Dignity Health Medical Group – Stockton, a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join a collaborative surgical practice with a primary focus on breast cancer care. This role offers a balanced blend of clinic-based care and operating room participation, ideal for APPs who value continuity of care, collaboration, and sustainable work-life balance. Practice Highlights: Work primarily with our Surgical Oncologist, with occasional collaboration with a General Surgeon
Primary focus on breast cancer patients, supporting care from consultation through recovery
Outpatient-based practice with meaningful operating room participation
Collaborative, physician-led environment that values APP autonomy and partnership
Embedded within a multispecialty surgical specialty care clinic, fostering strong interdisciplinary collaboration
Opportunity Highlights: Balanced role: approximately 80% clinic / 20% operating room
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No inpatient responsibilities and no call
Perform:
Initial patient consultations
Follow-up visits and ongoing care management
Post-operative care
Patient education and emotional support
