This hospital is searching for an Orthopaedic fellowship trained in Total Joints to join the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.The Hospital is a 700-bed academic/tertiary referral medical center with a Level 1 Trauma program. Orthopaedic residents from nearby University of Virginia complete a total of four, 10-week rotations here during the PGY-3 and PGY-4 years. This Orthopaedic group includes 38+ Physicians and 16 Physician extenders in 10 subspecialty sections providing patient centered care throughout the region. This position offers the opportunity to benefit from an academic practice setting practicing with many of the advantages of a smaller community practice in a state-of-the-art facility, supported by a large academic institution. Surgeons have academic appointments through the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Research interest is supported. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
