- Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
- NJ DOE certified teacher; prefer autism certification but not required
- Provisional or Standard Certificate in (2470) Teacher of the Handicapped or (2475) Teacher of Students with Disabilities
- Demonstrated experience working with children in a school setting, with a strong emphasis on supporting those with special needs and with autism population
