Location: Situated outside the capital of SC, this vibrant city continues to grow into a major diverse and urban area with a bustling downtown area. Conveniently located near I-95 and I-20, take a quick drive to escape to Myrtle Beach, Charleston, or Columbia.
Opportunity: Seeking a Locum Orthopedic Hand Surgeon
Start/Duration: Ongoing coverage needed but one week of coverage per month
- Coverage needed 1 week a month (Monday Friday)
- Coverage will include outpatient clinic and hospital coverage, NO trauma call and NO weekend coverage.
- Schedule will be:
- Tuesday and Thursday Clinic 8 am 5pm
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the OR from 7:30 am 5:00 pm with additional add on surgeries possible
- Volumes:
- # of inpatients rounded on per day: 0-5
- Expected Surgical Volume on OR days: 5-12 cases per day
- Expected # of Patients per day in Clinic: 20-40 per day
- NO APP support, but we do have MA s and Cast Techs to help in the clinic
- EMR = EPIC
- Must be comfortable with hand trauma, but we do not do replants or oncology for ortho
- Age range: 15 and up
Requirements
- BC or BE Ortho
- SC Medical License
- CSR
- DEA that can be permanently registered in SC
