Position Highlights:
Start Date: December 29, 2025
Setting: In-hospital OB/GYN Laborist
Annual Delivery Volume: Active, 30-bed Labor & Delivery unit
Team: 1 OB/GYN + 2 Certified Nurse Midwives + full L&D support staff
Nursery Level: II
C-section rate: 25%
Patient mix: 70% low-risk, 10% high-risk pregnancies
EMR: Epic
Call schedule: TBD (flexible and collaborative coverage model)
Comprehensive Malpractice Coverage provided
Complimentary Travel & Lodging arranged and covered
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and deliver low- and high-risk pregnancies
Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and fetal heart rate tracings
Conduct routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
Provide emergent obstetric care as needed
Collaborate closely with midwives, nurses, and hospital staff
Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN
Active Ohio License
DEA
Completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited OB/GYN residency
Emergency credentialing availability
Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
