Job Description

• Provide direct patient care on a fast‑paced medical‑surgical unit, managing a diverse adult patient population
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop care plans, and document all interventions accurately
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility protocols and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality patient care
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with safety and infection‑control standards across all patient interactions
• Support unit workflow by prioritizing tasks, managing multiple patients, and adapting to changing acuity levels
• Utilize EMR systems effectively for charting, orders, and communication
• Demonstrate strong time‑management and critical‑thinking skills throughout the 7A–7P shift
