Job Details:

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with varied work schedule
• Possible call and float responsibilities
• Weekend and holiday rotations required
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge and nursing skills to provide care appropriate to patient's physical and developmental age
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural needs
• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate care activities, and supervise healthcare team members
• Evaluate patient progress and response to treatment, revising care plans as needed
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Participate in patient and family education, orientation of personnel, and quality improvement initiatives
• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum one year experience in acute care hospital setting required
• Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months as Registered Nurse in specialty area
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and possess adequate physical agility for patient care needs
