Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Surgery Circulator for a 13-week Operating Room assignment requiring an OK or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the operating room (OR) as a circulator nurse
- Day shifts from 06:30 to 19:00
- 13-week contract assignment
- Must participate in on-call rotation
- Provide direct nursing care following established policies and protocols
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning with healthcare team members
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment requiring critical thinking and minimal supervision
- Standard Precautions and use of personal protective equipment are required
- Holiday coverage may be required during the assignment
- Local candidates are eligible to apply but may receive a reduced rate depending on location radius rules
- All positions are auto-offer and prior communication for contract extension is encouraged
Requirements
- Active OK or compact state RN license with primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as an OR circulator
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification required
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and home address (no international addresses accepted)
- Copy of driver’s license required for consideration
