This position is for a full-time or part-time OB Hospitalist Physician at a 387-bed tertiary acute care facility and Level I Trauma Center in Palm Springs, CA. The role involves 24/7 in-house coverage including deliveries, OB triage, surgical assistance, fetal monitoring, ER duties, and collaboration with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists. The job also includes teaching responsibilities for fellows, residents, and medical students, requiring board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN and a California medical license.

Job Responsibilities:- Full-time position with approximately 7.5 24-hour in-house shifts per month.
- Consideration for part-time opportunities with a minimum of 5.5 shifts monthly.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 OB Hospitalists, providing 24/7 in-house coverage.
- Attend deliveries, conduct OB triage, and manage patient evaluations.
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide fetal monitoring.
- Cover ER responsibilities as required.
- Engage with Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) for high-risk patient consultations.
- Participate in teaching opportunities for fellows, residents, and medical students.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN (within 5 years of residency).
- California medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in OB Hospitalist roles preferred.
- Residency in the local area is required; relocation may be necessary.
- Ability to commit to full-time or part-time work options.
- Current California medical license (required).
- DEA registration must be obtained before start date.
- No visa support available (J1 or H1B). Candidates must already live in the area or be willing to relocate.
