Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg Tele
Job Details:
• Work 4x12 hour shifts with days/nights rotation schedule
• Every other weekend required
• Must be available for some holidays
• Handle 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg on a 26-bed unit
• Care primarily for CHF patients, acute MIs, post device care (pacemakers) and patients with arrhythmias
• Floating to other units required
• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
• First-time travelers accepted
• Scrub color: Any combination of navy and white
• Responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, respiratory care including nasal cannula and oxygen administration, isolation precautions, blood product administration, and wound care/wound vac
