This is a full-time Physician position specializing in Geriatrics at Confluence Health in Washington. The role involves providing care for elderly patients in nursing homes, assisted living, and home visits, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and potentially expanding outreach services. Geriatrician Department Geriatrics Location Confluence Health Wenatchee Valley Medical Center / Wenatchee Position Description Board Certified Geriatrician or experienced boarded IM or FP with geriatrics experience for full-time position. Join team with one full-time Geriatrician, two full-time midlevel practitioners, and part-time Palliative Care Internist. Round on nursing home, assisted living, and adult family home, as well as make home visits on home bound patients. Maintain office practice if desired. Share office and nursing home call, hospital Transitional Care Unit consults, and Palliative care consults. Practice may grow to include outreach services to nearby communities. Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team required. Geriatrics board certification preferred; experience and passion for elder care may substitute.
