Requirements:

• Board Certification:

  • Yes, in Family Medicine (FM), Emergency Medicine (EM), or Med/Peds
  • Fellowship: Not Applicable
  • Minimum Board Certification: Eligible
  • Licensure: Licensed in MO or through IMLC

• Certifications:

  • BLS: Yes
  • ACLS: No
  • ATLS: No
  • ABLS: No
  • PALS: No

• Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Residency Trained: Required
  • Board Certification: Must be obtained within the appropriate eligibility time frame
  • Patient Population: Must treat both pediatric and adult patients (generally 6 months and up)
  • Comfortable with:
    • Minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints)
    • Reading EKGs and X-rays
    • Using EMR systems (Epic training provided)
  • Support Staff: Willing to work with medical assistants, scribes, and rad techs (no RN/LPN support staff)
