This locum opportunity is for an experienced Interventional Radiologist in Bismarck, North Dakota, offering a high daily rate and comprehensive benefits including malpractice coverage, travel, and lodging. The role involves performing a variety of interventional radiology procedures such as vascular access, embolization, biopsies, and more, with no diagnostic reading required. Candidates must be board certified, fellowship-trained, licensed in ND or through IMLC, and able to perform all required procedures with preference given to those with neuro IR skills.

Schedule:
Day shift: 8am 4pm
Evening call: 4pm 8am
24-hour weekend call
Immediate dates available: Dec 24 Jan 3 (ongoing shifts available)
️ Required IR Procedures Include:
Vascular access & intervention (arterial & venous)
Central lines, PICCs, port-a-cath insertions
Embolization therapy, TIPS, IVC filters
Aspiration/drainage, biopsies (including bone)
Paracentesis, thoracentesis
Joint & epidural injections, vertebroplasty
Cryoablation, nephrostomy/stent placements
Gastrostomy tube insertion, blood patch, etc.
Stroke capabilities (neuro IR) are preferred but not required
Average procedures/day on-site
No diagnostic reads required.
What You Need to Qualify:
Board Certified in Radiology
IR Fellowship Training Required
ND license OR IMLC
ACLS & BLS Required
Must be experienced and fully capable in all required IR procedures
Clean malpractice history preferred
