Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and fast-paced Registered Nurse (RN) – ER to join a healthcare facility in Aberdeen, WA. The ER RN will provide immediate and critical care to patients with acute illnesses and injuries in a dynamic emergency department environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform rapid patient assessments and triage in the emergency department
• Provide direct care for trauma, medical emergencies, and acute conditions
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to life-threatening situations
• Assist with emergency procedures such as intubation, trauma resuscitation, and cardiac care
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (WA or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred
• Strong triage and emergency response skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Excellent clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
